Why and what for?

What right does anybody have to have things for free?

I will rather ask "Why should anybody not have things for free?" What is the need to make people compete? What could be the reason to have so called rules that people should follow to acquire things?

This world is a vast repository of resources and so is internet. Let us utilize whatever is available for free.
